The Best Squarespace Template for Real Estate Agents

The verdict: WeDecorefy, at 23 out of 25. It is the only template in the Squareko range that ships a Projects page paired with a separate Project Details page — the listings index and the repeatable property layout, already built — plus a Team page, a Blog, a Portfolio, a Gallery and a Shop across 15 pages. Every other real-estate-relevant template asks you to invent the listing detail page yourself. If you are a solo agent who wants a smaller site, take Cleanko instead. If your entire pitch is sold history, take Justify. Nobody should choose on the two templates tagged Real Estate without reading why below.

One thing first, because it disqualifies half the marketing you will read: no Squarespace template includes IDX or MLS listings. Squarespace has no native integration on any plan. Any template shop claiming "IDX-ready" means "you can paste an IDX embed into a Code Block", which is true of every Squarespace site.

The scores

The rubric, so you can disagree with the weighting rather than guess at it. Five criteria, each scored 1–5. Listing surface — is there a repeatable detail-page pattern already built, or do you invent it. Enquiry path — a dedicated booking, valuation or scheduling page, or a bare contact form. Local proof — real pages for team, testimonials, case studies or sold history, not a homepage strip. Content engine — a blog, for area guides and market commentary. Page depth — enough real pages, 9 to 15 across this range, that you are editing rather than building. Identical scores are used in the cluster pillar, so the two posts do not contradict each other.

Not scored: star ratings, "trusted by" counts and install figures. Unverifiable from outside the shop selling them.

Why WeDecorefy wins

23/25. WeDecorefy is the largest template in the range at 15 pages, and the pair that decides this comparison is Projects plus Project Details. Projects is the stock index. Project Details is a full, styled, repeatable detail layout — address, specification, gallery, enquiry — that you duplicate per instruction rather than designing from scratch and then designing again slightly differently next month. That is the single most expensive thing to build on a real estate site and the single most common thing agents get stuck on.

The rest of the page set is unusually complete for agency use: Team for agent bios, Portfolio and Gallery, a Blog for area guides, a Shop, a Freebie page for a seller's guide or landlord checklist, an About Me page, a Services folder with an Offering page, plus Contact, a Style Guide, a 404 and a Sections page.

The demo runs as an interior design studio, so every image and every line is yours to replace. That is normal — demo images are licensed to the template shop, not to the buyer, and every one has to go before launch anyway.

Where it loses two points. There is no dedicated booking or valuation-appointment page, so the enquiry path is a form on a contact page until you build one. And 15 pages is a lot of site; a half-empty 15-page build reads worse than a complete 9-page one.

Choose Cleanko if you are a solo agent who wants a smaller site

19/25. Cleanko is built for a cleaning company and transfers to a solo agent almost exactly. Its verified live pages are Home, Home 2, About, Services, Service Details, Pricing, Portfolio, FAQs, Blog, Contact Us, a Style Guide, a 404 and a Sections page.

Service Details is the repeatable detail layout — it works as an area page or a listing page. Pricing is where you publish a fee structure, which in sales and lettings is the fastest enquiry filter available to a small agent. FAQs built with Accordion blocks in Squarespace 7.1 render server-side, so "what is your commission" and "how long will it take to sell" are crawlable text rather than a PDF nobody opens.

Choose Cleanko over WeDecorefy when you have fewer than ten live instructions at a time and you would rather have a complete small site than an ambitious half-finished one.

Choose Justify if your entire pitch is sold history

18/25. Justify is a law-firm template and the smallest in the range at nine pages, and it ships the two structures real estate needs most and gets least: a Case Study page and a dedicated Schedule A Call page. Its other verified pages are Home, Home 2, About, Services, Our Practice Area, Blog, Contact, a Style Guide, a 404 and a Sections page.

For an agent, Case Study is the sold-history page done properly — what the property was, what the problem was, what it achieved and in how long. Schedule A Call is the valuation booking page that most agency sites replace with a contact form and then wonder why nobody submits it. Its 5/5 enquiry path is the highest in the comparison.

Choose Justify when you carry almost no stock of your own, your credibility comes from documented outcomes, and you want a site you can maintain in an hour a month. Do not choose it if you have listings to display: two out of five on listing surface is honest, and nine pages with no gallery or projects structure means the listings work is entirely yours.

Choose Click Crafter if content marketing is the plan

20/25. Click Crafter is a 12-page agency template — Home, Home 2, About, Services, Portfolio, Gallery, Blog, Shop, Freebie, Contact, plus Style Guide, 404 and Sections. It scores highest in the comparison on content engine, and for an agency whose growth plan is area guides and quarterly market commentary, that is the criterion that compounds.

The Freebie page is underrated. In lettings, a downloadable landlord compliance guide is consistently the best-converting asset on the site, and most agencies email it on request, which loses every enquiry that never asks.

Choose Click Crafter over WeDecorefy when your listings live in an IDX embed or on your brokerage's site and your own site is doing the marketing.

Choose Harmony if you are lettings-first

17/25. Harmony ships Home 1, Home 2, Services, Portfolio, Gallery, a Store, a Blog, Freebies, Contact, a Style Guide, a 404 and a Sections page. The Store is the reason to look: a Squarespace store page gives you categories, tags and native filtering without a line of code, so bedroom count, rent band and area become filters. Product URLs in 7.1 always include p/ before the slug, and the availability label is editable — open the Product Status panel, click Out of Stock, and change "Sold Out" to "Let Agreed".

That is the closest thing to a filterable listings system anyone can build natively on Squarespace. It costs two points on enquiry path, because there is no booking or valuation page in the build.

The two templates tagged Real Estate, and why neither wins

This is where an honest comparison earns its keep, because a buyer filtering the shop by niche tag will land on these two first.

Vogue — 16/25. Vogue is an 11-page template tagged Real Estate and Interior, and its live demo runs as an interior design studio — the headline is Vogue Interiors, the services are room schemes. Verified pages: Home, Home 2, Services, About with a Meet The Team section, Portfolio, Gallery in grid and slideshow layouts, a Shop, a Freebie page, Contact, Style Guide, 404 and Sections. For prime property it is genuinely attractive, and Portfolio plus Gallery plus Shop is a workable combination. It scores 1 out of 5 on content engine because Vogue ships no blog page, and for an agent whose local SEO depends on area guides that is a hole you build and style yourself

Horizon — 15/25. Horizon carries Real Estate, Home and Interior tags, and the demo is none of those in the estate-agency sense: it runs as a custom home builder, with headlines about building homes that last a lifetime, a Custom Home Builds services page and three named client testimonials. Verified live pages: Home, Home 2, Services, About, Portfolio, Gallery, a Freebie page, Contact, plus Style Guide, 404 and Sections. There is no blog or journal page and no shop in the live demo. That makes Horizon a reasonable choice for a developer, a builder or an architecture practice, and a weak one for an agent with stock to list.

Always use horizon-squareko.squarespace.com. The bare horizon.squarespace.com resolves to an unrelated third-party site and has nothing to do with this template.

BRIX Construction — 21/25, but you cannot see it. BRIX has a Projects and Service Details pair, FAQs and a Blog across 13 pages, which on paper is second only to WeDecorefy for new-build and developer sites. Its published live demo returns HTTP 401, so no link is given here. Ask for a walkthrough rather than judging from thumbnails, and if your business is contracting rather than selling, Squarespace templates for construction companies covers that segment properly.

What no template gives you, at any price

IDX. Squarespace's own Help Center article Adding an MLS search is explicit: to show MLS listings you "should be a member of an IDX service", and it names Diverse Solutions, IDXBroker and Displet. The embed goes in a Code Block, and advanced code in Code Blocks requires the Core plan or above; some providers need a second script in site-wide Code Injection, which is Core or above too. Expect roughly $60–$149 a month for a single-agent IDX plan plus a one-off setup fee, and confirm against the provider's live pricing page.

Squarespace also disclaims the result. It states this customisation "falls outside the scope of our support" and that it cannot guarantee "full compatibility with Squarespace… including how it functions with our responsive design, particularly its appearance on mobile devices, and if it functions on all templates". The embed will not render while you are logged in and editing, so check it logged out. And IDX listings are not your Squarespace pages — they are not in your sitemap, and they will not rank for you.

A native listings system. There isn't one. The three native routes — Portfolio pages capped at 60 projects, store products with filtering, or one page per property — are covered in full in the page architecture guide.

What the alternatives cost

Being fair here earns more trust than pretending there is one option.

Applet Studio runs about 30 templates at roughly $225 and holds the strongest dedicated real estate landing page on this SERP, with genuine IDX Broker and iHomeFinder guidance. Big Cat Creative is the largest premium Squarespace shop, and its self-service customisation education is better than most agencies' onboarding. Station Seven, Paper Moon Websites, Go Live HQ and Square Stylist all sell into this niche. Squarespace's own free templates are the honest baseline — included with every subscription, and entirely reasonable for a six-page personal agent brand.

The no-refund policy is standard across the template market and worth stating plainly: work through the demo properly before you buy, and where a demo is not publicly viewable, ask for a walkthrough. Where the Squareko range differs is delivery — templates arrive as a Squarespace contributor invitation rather than a file download, so there is nothing to upload.

The verdict, restated

WeDecorefy is the best Squarespace template for real estate agents, because it is the only one that hands you a listings index and a repeatable property detail page already built. Take Cleanko if you want a smaller, complete site. Take Justify if sold history is your whole pitch. Take Click Crafter if content is your growth plan and your listings live elsewhere. Ignore the Real Estate tag on Vogue and Horizon and judge both on their pages.

If you would rather not run the install, the premium Squarespace templates in our range can be installed onto an existing live site without taking it down, which matters when the current site is producing valuations. Most agents will do it themselves over a weekend, and the verdict above holds either way.
