Youth Listener is a free, 24/7 confidential support service for young people facing abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety, and other emotional challenges. Our trained volunteers provide a safe, accessible space for peer counseling, helping youth connect, share, and improve their mental health—anytime, anywhere. The Youth Listener provides peer-based emotional support to young people in crisis. Built on compassion, anonymity, and accessibility, it bridges the gap between mental health professionals and youth who need someone to talk to. Through trained volunteer listeners, the platform promotes empathy, resilience, and community—empowering young people to share their stories and receive guidance without fear or judgment.

When The Youth Listener approached Squareko, their goal was to create a digital home that felt safe, human, and easy to access—a space that represented hope and connection. Their existing structure lacked emotional warmth and modern usability.
Challenges identified:
